Volunteer

We welcome you to volunteer with our kids in a Club or to assist us with fundraising and special events.  Whether you've got a few hours or many, we would be honored to have you support our mission. 

IN A CLUB

You can visit the "Clubs" page for information on the locations of our Middle Tennessee Clubs. If you are interested in volunteering at one of our Clubs please click here to download an application. Once completed, please fax your application to 615.833.4381.  Please see below for our volunteer requirements and note that a background check is required on applicants interested in volunteering with our Club members.

Volunteer Requirements:
Our volunteers need to be consistent, caring, flexible and motivated to work with children. You also must meet the following requirements before we can assign you to a Club:

Be at least 18 years of age

  • Have at minimum, a high school diploma
  • Complete a volunteer application
  • Attend an orientation session
  • Pass a criminal background check (any convictions for drugs, alcohol, DUI, violent crimes against children or any violent crimes will prohibit you from volunteering)


Volunteering as a Group:
Co-workers, youth groups, school classes, civic organizations, social clubs, sororities, fraternities, alumni associations, social clubs, and church groups --- any and all can make a significant contribution as a volunteer team for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee. We will work with your group coordinator to identify your special interests, skills and time constraints and match you with a meaningful and satisfying project.
